PracticalBits LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Avanti mobile application (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

We built Avanti with your privacy at its core. Our guiding principle is to collect only the data necessary to provide and improve the Service.

Summary of Our Privacy Practices

  1. We Don't Collect Your Personal Content. We do not know, see, or store the tasks, habits, or notes you create in the app. Your data is yours alone.
  2. Your Data is Stored Locally and Synced via Your iCloud. Your data is stored securely on your local device. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is synced with end-to-end encryption across your devices using Apple's iCloud service. As the developer, we have zero access to any content in your iCloud account.
  3. We Use a Third-Party (RevenueCat) for Subscriptions. To manage your subscription status, we use a trusted third-party service, RevenueCat.
  4. You Have 100% Control. You can create, edit, and delete all of your data directly within the app at any time.

1. Information Collection and Use

A) Personal Data You Create (Content)

We have no access to the personal content you create in the app, such as your tasks, habits, or notes. This data resides solely on your device or within your personal iCloud account.

B) Data for Subscription Management (via RevenueCat)

To provide and manage in-app purchases and subscriptions, we use a third-party service, RevenueCat.

To verify and manage your subscription status across your devices, RevenueCat creates an anonymous or user-specific identifier for you. This identifier is linked to your purchase history but is not linked by us to other personal data like your name or email address.

We do not see or store your payment details (like credit card numbers). All payment processing is handled securely by Apple's App Store.

C) Anonymous Usage Data (from Apple)

We receive anonymous, aggregated statistics from Apple regarding app sales, downloads, and usage (e.g., how many users are in a certain country). This data is not linked to you personally and is used only to improve the app.

2. Data Storage (Local & iCloud)

Your content is stored securely on your local device and is synced by default across all your Apple devices using Apple's iCloud service. This synchronization is a core feature of the app, designed to let you access your data seamlessly everywhere.

3. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children.

As stated in this policy, all user-generated content (like tasks and habits) is stored exclusively on the user's local device and, if enabled, synced via their personal iCloud account. We, the developer, have no servers that store this data and no ability to access, view, or delete it.

If you are a parent or guardian and you become aware that your child is using our Service and has created data, you are in full control. You can manage or delete this data at any time by accessing your child's device and the app directly.
